THEME: A party with everyone we know.
James: A party with everyone we know? Everyone? Not sure that is the good time we are looking for from this holiday season. If we could choose, we might pick some of the people we know. We might leave out, say, that guy from junior high shop class who nailed our pantleg to the workbench, or our friend’s friend who can’t seem to talk about anything else but a vacation we can’t possibly afford. However, if you’ve been in the consciousness exploring game, even for a bit, you realize that the party of being isn’t invite-only. If so, for the holidays we would get all the forgiveness and joy, leave the overwhelm and anxiety standing out in the cold. Unbidden, they find their way in, and we’re left with little option but to make them tea. That’s what we’ll do for the sit, open our doors of perception wide as can be, such that the ghosts of holidays past can come and go as they please, then make our hearts warm so they might get what they need before it’s time to leave.
