Energy and Calm

Seishin: Some meditation techniques instruct us to only observe the breath or body without changing it. In today’s meditation we’ll do something different — we’ll cultivate a breath and body that is simultaneously energetic and calm. In this exploration, we see how these seemingly paradoxically opposite aspects are not only compatible, but actually support each other and are necessary for each other! Exploring this juxtaposition was extremely powerful for my practice, and I am glad to get to share it with you.
