THEME: “If you can’t love yourself…”
Erin: Tonight we’ll explore the koan from the great RuPaul “If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else?”. Mad respect to Mama Ru, but this phrase has always confounded me. Loving other people has always seemed infinitely easier than loving myself. But maybe we can’t truly have one without the other in any sustainable way. Buckle up for a meditation exploration into our relationship with ourselves, and how improving that may just enrich all the other relationships too. Can I get an amen?
