Avi: Visionary practices speak the language of mythopoetic images while body-based practices work with felt flows of subtle energy. One of the secrets of real magic is that image and energy are not truly independent. A symbolic image of healing placed in a chronically stressed part of the body may shift the energy patterns there. Conversely, a felt lump in the throat may have a story to tell us if we respectfully invite it to transmute into an imaginal being.
