Laura: Too often, society has approached neurodivergence as a hurdle to overcome. Certainly there are some very real challenges faced by anyone living with a neurodivergent brain (that, I know all too well!). This very divergence has incredible potential to open a beautiful world of gifts as well. As a public school educator, I get to work with some awesome kids every day, each with their own unique brains and approach to the world. When we meditate, I’m always intrigued by the creative spaces and profound discoveries they tap into on the edges of their inner worlds. Join me in exploring some of the best lessons my neurodivergent students have taught me on embracing our true selves, one another, and believing in magic.
