This fun workshop will distills the elements of meditation, or at least my understanding of them, inspired by my new book with Dan Harris, Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics. Suitable for total beginners to more experienced explorers. The idea is to kick-start – or refresh – peoples’ meditation practice, by giving them both a clear understanding of four core meditation styles – concentration (leads to peace), mindfulness (leads to perspective), loving-kindness (leads to connection), and “just sitting” (leads to acceptance) – and how they can all be mixed, matched, and integrated into a single practice routine. Workshop is 2.5 hours long, a mix of teaching, discussion and guided practice.
Cost is $40, first come, first serve. Sign up here.
