GROUP PRACTICE: But Maybe Not Yes to That! – Contemplating Boundaries.
If some meditation techniques are about how to accept our circumstances and not fight with what is, then in the group practice we’ll explore the need for boundaries and how these two seeming opposite stances actually relate. In some ways, poor boundaries are a way of not taking responsibility for what is – they are forms of resisting reality. Two forms of poor boundaries are taking responsibility for the actions and feelings of others, and pressuring others to take responsibility for your actions or feelings. We’ll explore how these dynamics play out in life.
