Erin: Rumi wrote “This being human is a guest house/Every morning a new arrival/ A joy, a depression, a meanness/ some momentary awareness comes/ As an unexpected visitor/Welcome and entertain them all!”. For tonight’s meditation, we’ll take his exhortation and open the doors wide to our own guest houses, aiming to accept all the wonderful weirdos who show up looking for refuge. Then we’ll offer our own unique wisdom to one another, emboldened by the wearing of ridiculous headgear.
